So I spent most of today revising, because that is how I like to spend my Sunday (if you didn't notice the sarcasm there, its not how I like to spend my Sunday but I need to revise and I have nothing else to do - if you did notice the sarcasm there go you!).
Anyway, I was revising Physics and in particular the solar system (wow!). I was reading the part about asteroids and this is what it said... "Asteroids are lumps of rock that are much smaller than planets. Most asteroids orbit the Sun between Mars and Jupiter, but a few cross the Earth's path. (This is the 'good' part>>) There is a tiny risk that one of these asteroids will collide with Earth. If this happens, many people will die."
So i'm thinking, fantastic! (<< again notice the sarcasm) not only am I going to fail my Physics gcse, because I know zilch about the universe, but now I have to worry about some bloody asteroid thats going to collide with Earth! And, I don't even think i'm going to need too know this for the exam, so it is in this revision guide for no other purpose than to depress me. I'm not impressed.
But on a happier note I did spend most the day listening to Busted. They are amazing :)
So, if you're worried (like me) about the tiny chance that an asteroid will collide with the Earth and kill many people do not fear, put on a good Busted song (this could be ANY Busted song) and sing your troubles away.

I'm off to switch the Sun off. At least then, there will be no problem with the asteroid destroying Earth.
