Ellen stole them and I keep forgetting to get them back. I need them though, one wrist-full is not enough. Absence makes the heart grow fonder, well my heart was already fond enough, now it's just overload. On a more positive note I've got a couple of new ones, I made one out of paperclips because I just wanted to fill the empty void that I'm now stuck with. The void was by no means filled, but it's still nice :) When people talk about love I never really understood, but I think I do now. I'm always hearing 'you know when you'll meet the one' well I think I have, except it's more like ten, and I miss them terribly.
I regret every time I've called them stupid because they slightly get in the way when playing guitar. I regret every time I forgot to wear one. I regret every time I chose not to wear them, for practicality. I regret not taking more photos of them with me, to remember the good times. I regret getting so drunk that I actually broke one of them, I know it must have hurt, but I'm sure it was nothing compared to the pain of the guilt I felt. I regret ever being parted for them, even if for just a second.
I know I have to be strong though, for them. It hurts, but the thought that we will one day meet again makes the pain seem almost bearable. The most difficult part of it is that I don't know whether my last words to them were 'I love you' because I don't think they were and for that I am so sorry. I do love them, with all my heart.
You never know what you've got until it's gone. I know that now.

"When I think about actors I know, I'd much rather hear about who they're shagging than what film they're doing next." - Hugh Grant
study leave is the time I think I blog most.
I remember last year on study leave, it was pretty much all I did do.
I had a dream last night with Hitler in it. Was a bit odd. I ended up jumping in front of a car, long story.
I think I need to turn my phone volume down a bit, everytime I get a text (which I admit is rather rare) I jump out of my skin :') it's only up so loud because I normally never hear it ringing at all. Until Alice says "Lena, your phone...". I blame damaged hearing on gigs and playing music too loudly.
So Film Studies exam tomorrow. Two and a half hours of pure joy. By 'pure joy' I do of course mean 'nightmare writing and endless ramble'. Hm, that sounds familiar. So hopefully it'll be as easy as all the lessons we've had this year. Although I can't see the exam board setting us the task of watching Shaun of the Dead, unfortunately.
But it's okay I've come up with two key revision points to get me through the three sections...
1.) Working Title - British film company. They believe if a film has Hugh Grant starring in it, it will be a success. They've also made a couple of other films without Hugh Grant in them...
2.) Mildred Pierce and Erin Brokovich - Two 'women's pictures', one starring a gay italian man and a daughter character that you want nothing more than to whack round the face with a heavy or sharp (preferably both) object. The other starring Julia Roberts and her frankly massive mouth. Neither of these films have Hugh Grant in.
So, I'm thinking an A for me.

might delete this in the morning if I remember to.
Everything has been mental recently. Not as in 'I've got loads of social events and stuff to do with my life'... more, just, well, strange.
My moods have been fluctuating like a yo-yo or something. yes, I'm tired leave my analogy alone.
Blink 182 have been the soundtrack for the past few months for me, the fact that they're so American, but still good says a lot :)
I really feel like going for a run... or sitting on Jacksons or somewhere. But it's gone midnight and it wouldn't be safe truthfully.
Seeing Penny tomorrow, I've been excited about it for a while.
Ah, there is loads of people I miss recently, I want to see them all nowwww <3
I keep looking at and listening to things that I know are going to ruin my day, but I do anyway, which is idiotic of me...
I'm sitting cross-legged at the moment which I like... should do it more often
Oh yes, tumblr. it's my new thing. http://lena-moss.tumblr.com/

I had a well good day
Me & Ellen stole a carpet.
Well, I say stole. It was a free sample that we picked up outside 'Carpet Right' (an appropriate place to have a carpet sample). We made sure that we got the coolest colour one and not some rubbish beige colour... admittedly we got a few strange looks, both when 'stealing' the carpet sample and carrying it. It was fun anyway.
What I really want to know is why would you need a carpet sample, like ever?
Oh, I'm also proud to say we walked all the way to ASDA :)
A day of accomplishment for sure.

Paper chains are super cool.
I don't like writing christmas cards, they're boring to write and read, but somehow I feel the obligation too write them every year...maybe I should make a stand this year and not bother... I will bother though, that's the annoying thing.
Another things that bugs me about Christmas is the ridiculously over-priced CD's and DVD's etc. I want to get a CD as soon as it comes out, I do not want to have to wait until after Christmas to get it, which I do because I'm cheap. On the topic of CD's released around Christmas time, Believers Never Die - (Fall Out Boy's) Greatest Hits, SERIOUSLY!?! This kind of thing angers me greatly.
What else do I strongly dislike about Christmas?? Ermm... well lights and stuff that are up in November, as an obvious choice. Also, the constant belief that everyone had a loving, kind spirit around Christmas time, this is not true. Also, all the annoying adverts that are everywhere at this 'festive time'. Especially that iceland one.
I know, bah humbug n'all. But I there are some things I like about Christmas, Wham! being the main one. But paper chains too, I think they're cool despite what anyone says.
My only point is that Christmas just reminds me that another year has gone past already, and that's pretty miserable (other than new years itself of course). Plus spending the whole day with family doesn't particually appeal to me.
Oh, and there is also the point of Jesus thrown in there somewhere. Not sure where.

When to write lists, and knowing when to stop.
Wow, it's been a while. I shall not speak of the pretty boring few months I have had, because they were in fact pretty boring.
Lists. They are wonderful things. The simple act of choosing your favourite books, films, albums etc and adding bullet points next to them brings such joy to a simple-minded being such as myself. Over the last few film studies lessons I have made quite a few lists, 12 to be exact. Some of them are uncompleted, or just need a bit of a change, but here are a few examples of what kept me occupied when I should have been doing my coursework.
Top 11 songs (It was 10 originally)
-You Really Got Me
-Supersonic
-I Bet You Look Good On The Dancefloor
-A New England
-We'll Live & Die In These Towns
-Can't Buy Me Love
-Smells Like Teen Spirit
-Country House
-Down In The Tubestation At Midnight
-American Idiot
-Where Did All The Love Go
5 celebrities I would happily punch
-Calvin Harris
-Chris Martin
-Pete Doherty
-Chad Kroeger (I had to look up his name, it's pretty stupid)
-This is still open for debate, although I may just put Chad Kroeger on here again
5 Celebrities that 'I would' that are dead, OR no longer in their prime
-Adam Ant
-David Bowie
-Marc Bolan
-Ian Curtis
-Paul Weller
(I had to point out several times that David Bowie was not dead, they did not correctly read the title of this list.)
I also had a similar list for people that are not old, or dead, but it was never completed. These are the first 4...
-Joe Dempsie
-Alex Turner
-Simon Amstell (Yes, I know he's gay but anyone on this list is hedging my bets really)
-Billie Joe Armstrong
I think that is enough examples now, but I did also have a 'Things to do before I die list' I decided not to post it because I keep thinking of things to add to it. But just to give you an idea my first 5 things were...
-Hire Noel Gallagher (+Noel Fielding, too sing the soup song) in a restaurant where I will only serve soup and Oasis soup
-Try the Weetabix week
-Write a musical film or a film and a musical
-Make a robot
-Officially arrest someone
Something that has recently annoyed me is that the past few NME's I have purchased have been a bit crap, but all the ones I have missed have been really good. This is not relevant to lists but it angered me...
Another thing that annoys me is the fact that people assume because I have never met an American I cannot judge them and say they are stupid and annoying. I can and they are.
Before this turns into a list of things that annoy me I shall stop, with the promise that I will try to write blogs a bit more often (for the average of two people that read them), although I have promised this before...

Stop Crying Your Heart Out
What can I say, it's been ages since i've written a blog. The last one was written in June (I checked) this is too long ago! I'd like to say that since June my life has been jam packed full of excitement and fun. I won't, becuase this would be a lie. However, I have had a pretty good summer... and I must admit I do miss the nice-ish weather.
So... I guess I should write about the 2nd half of June, July, August, September and what we have had of October, don't worry, I won't. But since the last blog I have had one particually spectacular weekend, that now seems ages ago. That, of course, was the weekend I went to Guilfest AND saw Oasis. Anywayy, that was an immense weekend. I've also had some other reasonably good days, but none up to the standard of that weekend.
I simply cannot write this blog post without mentioning the event that has taken over the last few months for me. This of course being the split of the greatest rock'n'roll band since the 60's, and possibly of all time. There is no need to remind you that this is of course Oasis. I must say when I heard the news I was not far from devestated, but like many Oasis fans had to bite the bullet and admit that this outcome had been predicted for years. Noel's last 'Tale From The Middle Of Nowhere' pretty much summed it up and convinced me to focus on the good times, of which there were many.
And on the subject of focussing on the good times, it's Green Day on Saturday (and i'm already bouncing off the walls about it) and i've still got The Specials, The Enemy and Madness to see before the year is up. So, life's good and now I have these few months covered I can make my next blog post a moaning one (these are my favourite)
Live Forever.
